Everything about Brian Boyle is large.
At 6-foot-7 and 243 pounds, the Hingham native and Tampa Bay Lightning winger is the largest player on his team.
One of 13 children, he comes from the largest of families. And with his size on the attack, he plays a large variety of roles.

The middle child of Artie and Judy Boyle, Brian’s life growing up in such a big household might sound hectic to some.

But it was not for him.
"It's pretty normal for me," he said of his large family. "It taught me a lot without me even knowing it. It was just normal. But there were always a lot of people around.

It's a lot of fun now, especially seeing everybody. It's nice to see all the nieces and nephews too. The family just keeps getting bigger and bigger."
The Boston trip has always been a favorite for Boyle because he is able to see his family.
